Marshmallows Dipped in Chocolate

Kids will love making these sweet chewy lollipops decorated with melted chocolate and festive cake sprinkles!

Method

Based on 26 servings, adjust as needed.

Step 1

Heat the chocolate in separate bowls over simmering water or on a low setting in the microwave. Allow to cool a little.

Step 2

If you're using large candy canes for your sticks, break them in half or even smaller to create enough for your marshmallows. (Top tip if you love candy canes: place extra ones in a food processor to crush them up and use as sprinkles in the next step!)

Step 3

Put your chosen sprinkles on separate plates. Push a candy cane or a lollipop stick into a marshmallow about half way in. Dip into the white or milk chocolate, allow the excess to drip off then dip into the sprinkles of your choice. Stand in a glass to set. Repeat with each marshmallow.

  • 50g White Chocolate 1x Sainsbury's White Chocolate 200g
  • 1 Bag Marshmallows 1x Sainsbury's Marshmallows 200g
  • selection of Cake Sprinkles 1x Cake Angels Carnival Sugar Sprinkles 114g
  • 1 pack Lollipop sticks (try Candy Canes for extra fun!) 1x Peppermint Candy Canes 144g
