Warming and delicious, oats are probably one of the best ways to start your day. This porridge with apples, nuts and raisins, is super quick to make as we just use the microwave.
Based on 4 servings, adjust as needed.
Peel and roughly chop the Bramley apples into small cubes and place into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the apple for 3 minutes and mash with a fork to get a rough apple sauce.
Mix the porridge oats with the milk and 100mls water per 100g oats in a large microwave-safe bowl. Place into the microwave and cook for 5 minutes, stirring halfway through. Stir through the cooked apple and honey.
Serve the porridge into 4 bowls and top with the raisins, cranberries, and top with pecans
