Beef Kebabs

These little beef patty kebabs are a tasty update to a normal takeaway - easy and fun to make! Stuff a few into a pita with some salad and a spoon of yogurt - Yum. Method

Based on 4 servings, adjust as needed.

Step 1

Place the beef mince in a bowl along with the doner kebab mix. Using clean hands, scrunch together the beef until the seasoning mix is fully incorporated. ​

Step 2

Split the beef mix into 12 balls and pat down to form mini patties.​

Step 3

Shred the lettuce and set aside.​

Step 4

Place a large frying pan over a medium/high heat and add the oil. Add the patties and cook on each side for about 3-5 minutes, until golden, caramelised and just cooked through.

Step 5

To assemble the pitta slice the side open carefully and add a bed of lettuce. Finish with three beef patties each and a dollop of yoghurt. Serve 1 and a half pittas per person.​

  • 500g Beef Mince 1 x Sainsbury's British or Irish 20% Fat Beef Mince 500g
  • 1 Olive Oil 1 x Sainsbury's Olive Oil 500ml
  • 6 Wholemeal Pittas 1 x Sainsbury's Wholemeal Pittas x6
  • 4 tbsp Natural Yogurt 1 x Stamford Street Co. Low Fat Natural Yogurt 500g
  • 1 to taste 1 x Maldon Sea Salt Flakes 250g
