Air Fryer Cheese and Chorizo Quesadillas

Throw together cheese, tomatoes, chilli, spring onions and chorizo to make these easy air fryer quesadillas – they'll prove a hit with the whole family and can be rustled no in no time.

Method

Based on 4 servings, adjust as needed.

Step 1

Heat the air fryer to 180C. Combine all the ingredients except the tortillas and lime juice in a bowl. Set aside the lime wedges for later on.

Step 2

Spoon the filling onto one half of each tortilla, then fold over the other half and press down firmly. You want the filling to be near the edge but not falling out.

Step 3

Put as many tortillas as you can into your air fryer in a single layer – it’s fine if they overlap a little. Put a spoon or heatproof utensil on top to stop the tortillas coming apart during cooking. Cook for about 10 mins, turning after 5 mins until golden and crisp at the edges. Serve with the lime wedges on the side.

  • 6 Spring Onions, finely sliced 1 x Sainsbury's Spring Onions Bunch 100g
  • 8 Large Flour Tortillas 1 x Sainsbury's Plain Flour Tortillas x8 320g
  • 150g Chorizo, finely chopped 1 x Sainsbury's Spanish Diced Chorizo 150g
  • 250g Cheddar, grated 1 x Sainsbury's British Mature Grated Cheddar Cheese 250g
  • 2 medium Tomatoes, finely chopped 2 x Sainsbury's Tomatoes Loose
  • 1 Chilli, finely chopped, deseeded if you prefer less heat 1 x Sainsbury's Red Chillies 65g
