Think of this as the ultimate "bistro-at-home" upgrade. We’ve taken the classic flavour profile of a sophisticated chicken club and re-engineered it specifically for the air fryer to give you a hot, gourmet lunch in just 20 minutes.
Method
Based on 1 servings, adjust as needed.
Step 1
Mix the sliced chicken with half of the cranberry sauce and half of the mayonnaise, the salt and a few grinds of pepper together in a large bow
Step 2
Line the air fryer’s grill plate with baking parchment. Arrange the chicken strips on the parchment in a single layer and cook at 200°C (400°F) for 12 minutes, turning the strips over halfway through cooking.
Step 3
Once the chicken is cooked, add a slice of Brie to each strip of chicken and cook again for 1 minute at 200°C (400°F). Remove and set aside.
Step 4
For the crispy shallots, discard the baking parchment from the air fryer and spray the grill plate with oil. Add the shallots in a single layer, spray with oil and sprinkle with the salt. Cook at 160°C (325°F) for 3 minutes. Give the basket a shake and cook for a further 3 minutes.
Step 5
Spread the remaining tablespoon of mayonnaise and cranberry sauce along the bottom half of the baguette. Add the Brie-topped chicken, then sprinkle over the shallots. Add the watercress and top with the other half of the baguette. Cut in half and enjoy.
