Chocolate and Hemp Seed Protein Balls

by Delicia Bale

It can be difficult to find high-protein snacks when trying to reduce UPFs in your diet, especially something sweet! If you have specific protein needs or just want a really satisfying snack, then these are the perfect thing to make. These contain 11g protein per two balls.

Method

Based on 20 servings, adjust as needed.

Step 1

Put the Medjool dates, hemp seeds, ground almonds, almond butter and cocoa powder in food processer and blend together until a smooth paste is formed.

Step 2

Roll the paste into 20 even-sized balls. You may need to put the paste in the fridge for a bit if it is too sticky to roll.

Step 3

Roll half of the balls in hemp seeds.

Step 4

The balls can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for a few days. You can also freeze them and defrost as needed.
