Speedy Sausage and Mash

A family favourite, guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. Featuring sumptuous sausages, fluffy mash, warming gravy and fresh peas - and did we mention, all the hard work is done for you?!

Method

Based on 4 servings, adjust as needed.

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 210°C/190°C fan. Place the sausages on a large baking tray and cook for 20 minutes, until golden.

Step 2

Heat the mashed potato according to the manufacturers instructions and warm the gravy into a small saucepan set over a medium heat. You can add a splash of Worcestershire sauce if you have some. For the peas, bring a small saucepan of salted water to the boil, add the peas, then bring back to the boil and drain.

Step 3

To serve, divide the mashed potato between the plates, followed by the sausages, peas and gravy.

  • 300g Garden Peas 1x Sainsbury's Garden Peas 910g
  • 300ml Onion Gravy 1x Sainsbury's Onion Gravy, Inspired to Cook 300g (Serves 3)
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower Oil 1x JS Sunflower Oil 1L
  • Maldon salt to taste 1x Maldon Sea Salt Flakes 250g
  • 8 Sausages 1x Sainsbury's Pork Sausages, Taste the Difference x10 667g
