Smoked Salmon on Rye

A classic smorgasbord combination from Sweden. Earthy, nutty toasted rye with smooth cream cheese, fresh cucumber and rich smoked salmon. Lots of lemon and dill to cut through the richness. This simple toast makes for the perfect omega-3-boosting breakfast or lunch, it would also be a great starter for a dinner party. If you'd like a bigger portion, simply make two pieces per person. Switch up the toppings to your liking: hot smoked salmon, radishes, thinly sliced fennel, boiled eggs, the options are endless.
