This dish is one pot MAGIC.
Method
Based on 4 servings, adjust as needed.
Step 1
Set a wide saucepan or casserole dish over a medium heat. Add the olive oil and sliced garlic, and cook for 1 minute, until just golden. Add the spaghetti, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced onion, salt and boiling water.
Tip - You need to make sure the spaghetti is fully submerged in the water - if not, break it in half!
Step 2
Bring to the boil and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. The dish is ready when the spaghetti is fully cooked and your sauce is ‘saucy’!
Step 3
Stir the torn basil into your saucy spaghetti and divide between the bowls. Serve with grated parmesan.
