Gut-Loving Green Smoothie

Does anything say "healthy" quite like a green smoothie? Despite the colour, this tastes divine and has far less sugar that green smoothies on store shelves.

Method

Based on 2 servings, adjust as needed.

Step 1

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blitz to combine.

  • 300ml Milk Of Your Choice 1x Sainsbury's Unsweetened Almond Drink 1L
  • 0.5 Green Apple, cored and quartered, but keep skin on 1x Sainsbury's Granny Smith Apples Single
  • 1 handful Kale, stalks removed 1x Sainsbury's Kale 200g
  • 1 tsp Root Ginger, freshly grated 1x Sainsbury's Root Ginger Loose
  • 1 tsp Chia Seeds 1x Sainsbury's Chia Seeds 150g
  • 2 tbsp Almonds 1x Sainsbury's Ground Almonds 200g
  • 0.25 Avocado 1x By Sainsbury’s Medium Ripe & Ready Avocado
  • 1 tbsp Clear Honey 1x Stamford Street Co. Clear Honey 340g
  • 1 tbsp Live Natural Yoghurt, or Kefir 1x Bio & Me Kefir Live Yoghurt Original 350g
  • 1 Banana, peeled and cut into chunks 1x Sainsbury's Fairtrade Bananas Loose
