Al'Fez's ‘Perfect for Dipping’ Hummus

There’s nothing quite like creamy, homemade hummus served alongside warm za’atar flatbread. We’ve bundled everything you need to whip up this silky snack in minutes, making it the perfect, effortless addition to your grocery list.

Method

Based on 4 servings, adjust as needed.

Step 1

In a food processor or Nutri bullet add the whole can of chickpeas (including the water) whole garlic, the jar of Al’Fez Tahini, half the olive oil, the juice from the freshly squeezed lemon and salt.

Step 2

Blitz until silky smooth, adding more olive oil if needed to achieve a smoother consistency.

Step 3

Plate the hummus with a drizzle of olive oil on top. Cut up Al’Fez Za’atar flatbread into small triangles and plate alongside the Hummus for the ‘Perfect Dip’.

  • 125g Tahini 1 x Al'Fez Natural Tahini Paste 125g
  • 1 Garlic Clove, grated 1 x Sainsbury's Large Garlic
  • 50ml Olive Oil 1 x Sainsbury's Olive Oil 500ml
  • 0.5 Lemon, juiced 1 x Sainsbury's Lemons
  • Salt, to taste, 1 x Maldon Sea Salt Flakes 250g
  • 400g Tin Chickpeas, and the water 1 x Sainsbury's Chickpeas in Water 400g (240g*)
