Air Fryer Tuna Crunch Wrap

by Hayley Dean

I love making tuna crunch wraps as an alternative to a standard sandwich. The peppers and onions really jazz up the tuna, along with the delicious melted cheese, and the addition of the tortilla chips gives that unexpected crunch.

Method

Based on 2 servings, adjust as needed.

Step 1

Mix together the tuna, sweetcorn, red pepper, red onion and mayo in a bowl. Season with a pinch each of salt and pepper, or to taste.

Step 2

Spoon the tuna mixture into the centre of the large tortilla wraps. Cover the filling with the tortilla chips and scatter over the grated mozzarella.

Step 3

Place the smaller wraps or cut-out circles on the top of the filling. Fold the edges of the large wraps over to enclose the filling.

Step 4

Place the wraps, seam side facing down, in the air fryer. Spray with a little oil and then brush it all over. Cook at 180°C for 8 minutes or until golden, turning halfway during the cooking time and adding a little more oil, if necessary.

Step 5

Slice in half and allow to cool for a moment before tucking in.
