Air Fryer Tuna Pasta Bake

Make this comfort food classic with your air-fryer. Top with mozzarella, and serve warm with salad or your favourite sides

Method

Based on 2 servings, adjust as needed.

Step 1

Heat the air-fryer to 190C. Tip the oil, onion and garlic into a heatproof dish and air-fry for 3 mins. Add the tomatoes and chilli flakes, if using, along with some seasoning. Air-fry for a further 5 mins.

Step 2

Reduce the temperature to 170C. Stir in the cooked pasta, tuna, most of the mozzarella and the parsley. Scatter the reserved mozzarella over the top.

Step 3

Air-fry for 5 mins until golden, then cover with foil and cook for a further 5 mins until bubbling. Serve warm with salad.

  • 400 g Chopped Tomatoes, canned 1x Sainsbury's Chopped Tomatoes Can 400g
  • 0.5 tsp Chilli Flakes, optional 1x Sainsbury's Crushed Chillies 32g
  • 150 g Pasta, cooked following pack instructions 1x Sainsbury's Penne Pasta 1kg
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped 1x Sainsbury's Onions Loose
  • 165g Tuna, in olive oil, drained 2x Sainsbury's Tuna Drained & Ready Oil 120g
  • 2 tbsp Parsley, chopped 1x Sainsbury's Fresh Packed Flat Leaf Parsley 30g
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped 1x Sainsbury's Garlic
  • 50g Mozzarella, grated or torn 1x Sainsbury's Grated Mozzarella Cheese 250g
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil 1x Sainsbury's Olive Oil 500ml
