Creamy Mushroom, Bacon and Blue Cheese Spaghetti

This luxuriously creamy recipe has only 5 ingredients. The perfect mid-week win!

Method

Based on 4 servings, adjust as needed.

Step 1

Bring a large pan of water to the boil, then cook the spaghetti according to pack instructions.

Step 2

Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a large frying pan for 5 mins, until starting to crisp. Tip in the mushrooms, then fry for 3 mins until cooked. Drain the pasta and tip into the frying pan along with the spinach and cheese. Toss everything together over a low heat until the spinach has wilted and the cheese melted.

Step 3

Serve with lots of black pepper.

  • 200g Baby Spinach 1x Sainsbury's Baby Leaf Spinach 200g
  • 250g Chestnut Mushrooms, sliced 1x Sainsbury's Chestnut Closed Cup Vitamin D Mushrooms 300g
  • 400g Spaghetti 1x Sainsbury's Spaghetti Pasta 500g
  • 100g Creamy Blue Cheese, crumbled 1x Saint Agur Blue Cheese 150g
